Marketing Using Stickers Without Any Hitch
Sticker printing or label printing can be used for a variety of purposes. Today, besides just using these color labels for decorative and labeling purposes, many businesspeople are also using them for marketing or advertising. It is very easy to adapt your label printing for this purpose. In this guide, I will explain how color stickers or labels can work in this way.
1. Why labels and stickers?
First, let us get one big question out of the way. Why would you use color labels and stickers for marketing? Aren’t posters, brochures and flyers just as effective? Well the answer to this is very simple. Color stickers are just another different but considerably original way to market goods and services. People always see posters, brochures and flyers all the time. Stickers on the other hand are usually for use decorative or labeling purposes. Marketing stickers are usually less numerous. So it can be a great way to be noticed.
Moreover, label printing is pretty cheap actually. You can print labels and stickers for a considerably low price through sticker printing companies online. Compared to printing color posters and brochures, it can really be affordable, especially for small businesses.
2. Getting a powerful effective design.
Now, one of the important things you need to know about marketing sticker is that it should have a powerful and effective design to make it work. You should just not print a marketing message outright. You should consider adding a striking color background to get attention while at the same time adding a very memorable phrase or slogan in the sticker itself. The key here is to gain attention and be remembered.
So use the color of sticker or a striking image to attract passers-by to read them, while a good slogan should help people remember what they noticed. It is best to use words that rhyme, or repeating words to increase the recall factor of marketing labels.
3. Printing stickers fit for marketing.
Another crucial point in marketing with stickers is that you should print them effectively for marketing. This not only means that you should print them in glossy sheets. It also means that you should print them with longevity in mind. Since your stickers should reach far and wide, they should be printed tough with thick paper and protective coatings. This will increase the lifespan of the sticker or color label making it look new and fresh even if it has been printed and stuck to a location for a very long time. So make sure you invest in good sticker printing.
4. Getting those stickers to an audience.
Lastly, we have the issue of distribution. There are many ways to distribute your marketing stickers. The most common way is to just give them away for free just like you would any flyer, handing them out to people. You can of course modify this and you can give them away as “free items” as people buy from your store or avail of your services.
You can also take the concept further away and print stickers with useful messages in them. For example, you can print name label stickers, danger stickers, reminder stickers and even inspirational stickers so that people will pick them up for their specific use. Add a marketing message with that useful color sticker and you have a nice marketing medium that people themselves want to pick up.
