You just have to think creatively and be more resourceful.
The most important material for your card making project is your paper. Paper is everything in a card making project. If you would want to have the best result for your card making project, you have to invest on the paper that you would be using. There are many kinds of paper in the market. It could really be quite overwhelming at first but don’t you fret. There are also quite a number of guides and articles that could help you choose the right paper for your card making project.
The best bet for beginners is the A4 card. A4 card is the standard size of paper used for cards. It also comes in plain and board kind of paper. This would assure you that it could stand the pressure that you would exert on it once you start on decorating it. The plain color also comes in handy. It gives you more freedom to design your card. With an A4 card, you don’t have to worry if the materials that you would use would jive on the color of the card. You could use anything and make any kind of design with A4 cards.
If you are already a professional, that is only the time that you could experiment on other kinds of paper. You could now used glitter, metallic, or any other kind of paper if you are already well versed when it comes to card making. Also, if you are already an expert then you have less chances of wasting these specialty papers. These kind of papers is quite expensive and indeed it is only for professional use.
